Hi
Im in the process of writing my final statement, and when i done this a couple of years ago i was directed to the framework that CAFCASS/Court use in relation to what is best for the child.
I believe its 10 or 12 points and raises points such as in the interest of the child to spend time with parents/ school friends etc..
I know im being vague but can anybody fathom who i am writing about.
Hi there
I think you're referring to the Welfare Checklist. Here's a link
https://www.inbrief.co.uk/child-law/child-welfare-checklist/
Cheers is there a more detailed version of this, i was sure i read a version that stated spending time in school holidays with school friends must be taken into account.
Kid lives with me and mother is suggesting i get 4 days at Xmas and Easter, 2.5 weeks at Summer and no days in half term holidays.
So not only will kid barely see me in holidays she'll pretty much never see her friends.
I don't think so... perhaps cafcass have their own guidelines, I'll have a scout about.
