I just applied for a C1a.

Do I have to give a copy of the C1A to my ex myself and the court has given me a copy with her name on it?

I don't know personally but if you're unsure give the court a call in the morning for guaranteed correct advice.

They cannot hand out legal advice but are more than happy to help with admin issues like this.

The C1a is a supplementary form and usually accompanies the C100 form, you would normally send the completed forms back into the court together, along with 3 x copies, so that's 4 copies altogther, one being the original.

Sometimes the court will send the papers out to the respondent, or they will send two copies back to you, one for your own records and one for the other party.

As the previous poster has said, if you're unclear about it just give the court office a call.
