Are these solicitors accepting payments on behalf of the CSA?
I think you should contact the CSA and ask how, as you have been making payments via their solicitor, that you now owe more.
I would have thought that the payments you've been making would cover your payments plus something off the arrears.
Ask them for a written breakdown of the these new demands, if you are not satisfied you can appeal, complain and then take it to your local MP and ask for assistance.

Hi Yes the solicitors are accepting payment for the CSA. This is for previous arrears, they are now asking for direct payments to CSAfor additional arrears.

This must be very confusing for you, I would certainly contact the CSA directly and find out what the situation is currently. Ask them to put it in writing to you, as they often give out the wrong information over the phone. Some of them don't know their own rules and regs and if you are not getting anywhere ask to speak tosomeone higher up.
