Thanks for letting me join this group. I have a question ref CMS. They recently informed me that my payments were going up from £750 pm to £1100 pm! In the letter the section that explains why was a large blank space within the doc itself. I wrote to them asking them to explain their obvious mistake and they then wrote back again saying the payments were now £880pm with still no explanation of why. I’ve rung them and was on hold for ever to be then eventually cut off. I’ve messaged them multiple times with their correspondence attached via the portal and still no explanation. It’s shambolic and I can’t get an answer out of them. The first increase letter gave me 5 days to adjust the payments via direct pay which is a joke. Any advice please ?
Hi,
I suggest you get in touch with your MP and ask can they contact CMS on your behalf and give you full breakdown of the payments, and can get them to put complaint in about the poor customer service.
Good idea to include email: correspondence@dwp.gov.uk when sending complaints.
@bill337 ok thanks v much
