Hi I need a bit of advice please!
My 16 year old Stepson has decided he is going to go & live with his friend just up the road, He will be starting collage next week, We will have to drop our Child benefit claim as they want to claim housing benefit, We have only just got his dad to make payments. Does his Dad still have to pay him direct or will he be able to stop his payments?

As far as I understand it when child benifit stops so does the liability to pay child maintenance.
