This girl puts my boyfriend on child support which was out of spite. Then she takes him off because his family didnt feel like she was right for that because we and his mom always have his little girl. Then she puts him right back on child support because she lost her job and all of this happened this year. Now she wont let us talk to her when we want she always have an excuse like we would have to apologize for telling people he pays child support or I would have to not get on the phone and tell my stepdaughter hey. She even told him to go to the place to take his self off child support because shes going to get a job soon and she the one who put him on there. This girl is insane and it costs toooo much to go to court and we just want to talk to her. She didn't let us talk to her because we told the child we had been calling ad texting her all weekend. So her mom didnt like that maybe because she had no legit reason to why she couldnt answer or even text back. We are so sick of going in cirlces with her and we gotta do what she says or we cnt see or get in contact with my baby. Please help:(
Hi there
I've changed your reply in to it's own thread, I hope that's okay.
CMS is paid regardless of whether the mother is working.
I would try mediation first as it's mandatory before a court application anyway. If the mother refuses to attend or attends but won't agree, the mediator will stamp the form you need to apply to court.
Applying to court needn't be very expensive as it's very easy to represent yourself. The application fee is £215 and you can look at form EX160a to see if you qualify for any reduction or exemption.
Best of luck
