Hi guys,
I have no idea why I have even registered on here, but here goes.
A couple of months ago my partner and myself agreed to a termination of her pregnancy as we felt we weren't ready for children at an early stage of our relationship, we'd only been together a number of months.
Naturally this has been a horrible ordeal but we know it was for the best as we still don't know each other properly and it'd have been unfair to bring a child into the equation so soon.
I have a previous child from an old relationship, my little girl is now 6 but lives 150 miles away and it's hard enough to spend time with her regularly due to costs getting there and back every weekend.
Since the termination happened, my partner and me have split up as we started to argue a lot. I lost my gran aswell and that hit me hard
We met up today for the first time in since what happened, happened. My feelings for her come back and I want to be with her. I don't wanna lose this person again. I want my partner, well ex. But I don't wanna rush things and like try to force it upon ourselves,
But my query is, how do we move forward? What do I do. I'm stumped.
Thanks,
Hi There,
.
Do you know how this girl feels, does she want to get back together?
.
I think if the answer is yes but she has concerns too, then I would suggest some couples councelling where you are both able to talk openly and honestly about what has happened and try and find a way forward, the councellor will hopefully be able to offer you both support and advice on how to move things forward.
.
A lot of what they will look at is putting things in the past and concentrating on the future, this will be hard with the history but if you are able to work together it is possible, many cuples are able to get over very deep heart ache and remain together, those memories don't ever go, but they fade and in time although as said you don't forget you learn to accept them.
