as above, many of us dads on here have had there ex, say? abuse, ok now exactly what is abuse, ? if the mother keeps the dad away from pregnancy, growing baby, and new born, small child, dose not inform the childs dad, about all stages of growing babys devolopment, and the early days,, is the not abuse,???? if its not then were all not guilty of abuse,, thankyou,
Up to the birth, you have no rights at all, I'm afraid. After birth, then you have parental responsibility if you are named on the birth certificate, and if not, then you can apply to court. Yes, you should be informed of important stages and be allowed contact, but as you will have seen on here, sometimes it's not an easy process to get that.
