[Solved] 19yr Child Maintenance

hi,

can you help.?

My son(I am the father), was in further education at college up until June 2014 and never went back to college after the summer break but I continued to pay child maintenance directly to the mother of my son(not via CSA) up to January 2015 when he started full employment(40hrs/week), I have since found out today that he has "jacked the job in" because he doesn't like working there and is planning on returning to college to attend a further education course - Does that mean I have to restart Child Maintenance payments again.??

I think he has to be under the age of 19 when he enrols at college for his mother to be entitled to child benefit and therefore maintenance. It might be a good idea to give Child Maintenance Options a call to clarify. πŸ™‚
