Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.

Reporting a concern

It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.

The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

I love this quote

Marriage is a mosaic you build with your spouse. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story.

So I would tell someone starting their first relationship that they should try to enjoy all the small moments. Try to have small moments every day - even a chat together at the end of a busy stressful day could be one of those moments. Make the small things matter.

Nice quote. I like this one:

β€œThe older I get, the less time I want to spend with the part of the human race that didn’t marry me.”

So thats my advice - enjoy being together, whatever it is........even if its watching one of her sappy tv programs or films. Actually make a point of watching those with her and try to enjoy them.

ok this has turned into a quote off then

I like this one :

β€œA happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.”

Never allow resentment and anger spoil a great relationship - forgive, forget and move on.

That one is a gem, and very true πŸ™‚ Well, excluding certain of those that did marry me but aren't any longer, of course.
