Ok, after this news this week, we thought we would ask :
What is the most romantic thing you have ever done or has been done for you?
Come on guys spill......
Well, if that news article is to be how we are judged, I must be the most romantic bloke in the world; my wife always has the remote control and I always put the bins out.
In reality, the most romantic thing I have ever done was to go on holiay to Sandals in Jamaica with a woman I hardly knew. We met in Iraq whilst serving in the army but she went home soon after we met. I had leave a few months later so we effectively had our first date in the Carribean. We got married two years after that. Eight years later, and she's preparing to divorce me, so you could ask why bother with grand romantic gestures?
The most romantic thing that was ever done for me was when an old girlfriend dressed up in a French maid's outfit and spent the whole evening pretending to be Violet the scullery maid. She was very romantic, if that's the right word for it.
er, struggling :boohoo:
