Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.

Reporting a concern

It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.

The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

Hi,
.
Don't be sorry, when you have those fellings of waanting to contact her, write here or with your friends on facebook, get chatting with others and soon the urge will be to talk with them and not her.
.
Going back to work will help you so much, getting routine back in your life and getting up and ready for work should keep you busy enough to stop thinking about things so much.
.
I will be on and off here all day as I have to finish cleaning one of my cars so chat away :silly:

Morning,

Well the weekend was ok , not much happening.
Went to car boot and also Sunday lunch with my daughter which was lovely.
Today I am of to this walk along seafront.
Yesterday I sent an email to the ex, nothing begging q anything. It was more of a acknowledgement email, that I was sorry for my mistakes and thanked her for her support during my hard times.
Anyway she did reply, but it was nothing, just glad you realise your faults and I hope you work them out!.
No, I am sorry too, or thank you, just basically, it's all your fault!.

Oh well, I feel better for sending it, I at least got a reply.
No more contact now, that's it.
I moved t back info my flat oct10th, well I start to move stuff in, I will move in the weekend after. Ordered sky tv also.
So overall I am doing ok ish.
Weekends are tough but they will get better.
Chat soon

Hi there

Good news on the flat move, something to look forward to and planning the logistics will take your mind off things.

How did your walk go? Hopefully you will have met some potential friends and a new pastime that's also good for your health!

I think, you're doing great....things do get easier and time is a great healer.

Hey

That is good news about the flat, I agree with Mojo, it should help keep you occupied with having something to focus on.

Hope you're feeling okay today.

Hi,
So walk was ok, bit of an odd bunch. So probably won't do that again!.
Back at work this week, on reduced hours, so not to bad.
Still feeling all over the place really.
I guess its just one day at a time.
Next week she goes on this holiday. So that's going to be really horrible for me.
Still I have got a few more bits for the flat, including a nice fish bowl.... Going to get some goldfish lol.
I just still feel so empty.
