Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.
Reporting a concern
It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.
The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

Thank you mate - my kids are of an age where they are able to choose their time between me and their mum. I am hoping the process of the child care arrangements is not complicated by any game playing.
My kids know I love them. I keep reassuring them that they will be ok, and Daddy will be ok of course. I don't want them to worry but I know they are upset and am mindful how this is affecting them.
I just need the next stage to happen so I can move forward in a positive way
Thanks mate - I am staying strong but is very very difficult
Craig
Thank you.
I remain strong - we have discussed the arrangements with the children vs my job committments.
They know I am there for them and will always be there for them.
At the moment I have wandered off the path and trying to find my way back on track - its very hard to come to terms with but I know I will at some point
Well, keep posting on here and we'll help in any way we can 🙂
