Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.
Reporting a concern
It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.
The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

My son no longer wants to see me, yet when he is with me he doesn't want to leave, his attitude towards me has completely changed I don't no what to do???
Hi there
I'm sorry to hear this, it must be upsetting for you.
How old is your son and how do you get on with the mother? Hopefully you can still communicate with her and I would suggest you try and talk to her about it.
Can you think of any changes that have happened recently, a new partner for instance, anything that might explain his behaviour?
If you dont get on with the mother and would find talking to her informally too difficult to arrange you could try mediation to try and find out what is happening, here's a link
