Dear all,
I am dad and going through divorce . I need to know about child custody rules.
I am doing all work including washing cleaning school work etc etc,...I used to take my family for holiday, shopping even I have started contributing from ear piercing from day one to birthday party etc etc...my wife is not interested to do anything and keep on saying that I will get everything including daughter and I will change her school .
Her focus is only job and home and no family life.
As she is not active mum in school on any of school mum.
I am really stuck and need to know how can I get full child custody. I don't want my child end up like her..
your earlier response on this will much appreciated.
Hi There,
.
You would need to apply to the courts for a child arrangement order as far as I am aware, this will deal with where your child lives and who cares for them.
.
You will be expected to attend mediation before applying to the courts as the judge needs to see you have tried to works things out between you, if you can't work it out in mediation or your wife won't attend then they will give you a form to show you have been and tried.
.
