The BBC has an article up about films that make men cry.

You can read it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-10814813

Among the list are epic films like The Lord of the Rings and The Shawshank Redemption - fair enough. But there are also some less epic, more kid-friendly films like Up, Babe, and Bridge to Terabithia.

What films make you cry?

Saw Toy Story 3 yesterday - came close in a couple of places.

Apparently, when I was young, I laughed at the point where Bambi's mother died while everyone else was crying.

I came pretty close when we took our eldest to see Up. 😳

The film that gets me every time is Life is Beautiful (La vita è bella). If you've never seen it and you don't mind a film with subtitles it's just amazing. Like Schindler's List, but better.

*Just noticed it was on the list!! So not just me then....

Come one guys fess up. Here's my list :

Hachi: A Dog's Tale - cried like a baby through the last 20 minutes of this film - much to my wife's annoyance.

Philadelphia - Sad, Sad, Sad.

My dad recommended Up - within the first 10 minutes, I was crying like a baby.

Also cry in Toy Story 2, during that sequence where Sarah McLachlan is singing "When Somebody Loved Me" and the little girl is playing with Jessie. Tear-jerker.

When I was watching Toy Story 3 I found I had something in my eye and it started leaking. That has been the first film in a long time to do that.

I know its not a film but I find Noels Christmas Special always gets me. I defy anyone to watch that and not cry (if not at Noel Edmonds irritating presenting)!
