Anyone get or got the new blu-ray collection? I own so many versions of star wars it seems pointless but the force is pulling my wallet out of my pocket. It`s tough being a fan! How do you feel about the changes Lucas has made?

It is tempting isn't it? Luckily I dont have a blu ray player so that helped me make my mind up!!

Like you I had them on VHS and DVD and the latter still work perfectly

Would like to see the changes though

Yes I am very tempted, but as I have the DVD versions, and ebaying them is quite a bit of hard work I might just add to Christmas list...
It would be interesting to know if they filmed it in enough definition in the first place to make a really sharp HD experience

I'm Not the biggest fan, however my girlfriend and her son are.

When she saw the advert on tv for it last night she wanted to get it, I said we don't have a blu-ray player, it seems that didn't put her off as she liked the box!!!

From what I've seen on Twitter, the HD experience isn't kind to A New Hope.

I watched the original film yesterday on DVD and it was fantastic - the special effects are still amazing and it made me want to watch the next one!! Maybe next week
