Excellent read - as down to earth as it sounds. Describes a number of seemingly impossible situations which the parenting coach manages to turn around (albeit with some rather drastic action) which made the problems with my teenager pale into insignificance. A good dose of encouragement for parents!

Sorry that was a film "my step-mother is an alien"... is that what you mean by last century?

I guess so - it feels like we come from different planets at times (I don't do films - remember not to recruit me for a pub quiz nyt)

Not sure bout Venus/Mars - supposed to be a M/F thing but kids are still developing their character so may apply to teenagers but probably not younger kids.

Depends how much you want your offspring to have the right attitude towards life. I have discovered a really effective program for teenagers, it changes their attitudes towards almost everything, including schoolwork and relationships with parents.
It is currently being pilotted at an independent school in UK.

Jungleman - nice to meet you... i am a little confused by your post.

How can the programme be effective if it is just being piloted?

I looked at the site and it has only had 300 visitors....

How are you connected to the organisation involved?

Sorry but this feels like blatant advertising to me... Happy if you can justify your 'effective' statement with some evidence, explanation or story...
