Fatherhood: The Truth by Marcus Berkmann

Initially, I found this book a little TOO blokey in the first few chapters and I almost stopped reading, suffering from fatigue regarding the endless discussions of beer, football, the pub, power tools and other "hilarious" male stereotypes...

HOWEVER... I'm glad I kept reading, because the later chapters provide some very useful information, perspective and life tools for coping with a newly arrived child. The last few chapters discuss the more philosophical side of fatherhood - what are fathers FOR? What makes a good Dad? And do you have to be a "good" Dad, or just "good enough"?

Highly recommended.
