This is an open invitation to all to join a group of Dads, Daughters and Sons and work with three professional dance artists to explore movement, story-telling. Explore what it means to be a Dad and what it means to be a daughter or son. Through workshops and rehearsals you will get to create and perform in a professional show at Battersea Arts Centre in London together. You do not need to have any experience in dance or performing, or any fitness levels. Everyone will be able to take part on their own terms.
What you will get out of taking part:
β’ Have fun and spend time together
β’ Learn new dance skills, as well as develop your own dance styles
β’ Improve your confidence moving and grooving
β’ Create your own choreography and dance movements led by professional dance artists
β’ Chance to perform at Battersea Arts Centre, London
You can start by dropping in to a taster workshop to give you a chance to see if you like the project. Choose one Taster Workshop from these dates:
Sat 17 May 10.30 β 12.30 at Battersea Arts Centre, London
Sat 17 May 2.30 β 4.30pm at Battersea Arts Centre, London
