[Solved] How easy is it to talk with your child's school?

Basically I'm getting a little frustrated trying to effectively communicate with my son's school, and I'd like to do something about it. The idea is to make an app that connects schools and parents, allowing the exchange of information in a much more efficient way.

I put this survey together real quick to see how information currently flows between schools and parents, and how it might be improved. If you have a few spare minutes it would be super helpful to hear your thoughts.

Thanks a lot.

I have asked my kids school to send me details of my kids activities etc as there mum wont tell me, I live 25-30 miles away and they say yes we will send stuff but never do, I don't get told about parents night or anything!

Teachers in our school are pretty open...I personally would have little interest in such an app because it would be more distraction than value for me.

I have to agree - I think email or the phone works well, and I can't see that an app would be as efficient.

Teachers are under a lot of pressure anyway and agree that phone or e-mail works better.

John_66 I would contact the school and ask all copies of letters sent to ex are sent to you.
Also any newsletters are e-mailed to you so you are aware of sports day and parents evening activities etc..

Yes there might be a difficulty but it's workable. I run a digital agency, professionally and personally I agree with others that it wouldn't add any value.
