Hi, I'm writing a story about the trend of men spending lots of time on their mobile phone or iPad while their partner is in labour, possibly to relieve some of the stress or as a distraction. Did any of you do this? Why did you do it? Did your partner mind or was she too preoccupied to notice? Please contact me here or email rosa.silverman@telegraph.co.uk or call me on 020 7931 2558.
You can remain anonymous if you prefer. Many thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, iphones etc weren't around when my kids were born.

I think it would be interesting to also include whether any women were also on their phones etc when in labour - I bet some tweet when they are in labour πŸ˜€
