Chris Evans had to drop his show this am to get to the birth of this child - Radio 2 are looking for a dad who similarly had to drop what they were doing to make a mad dash to attend the birth of their child.

Post here if your prepared to tell your story.

Whilst it is probably too late for the radio I think we have all done this - My youngest was born on 23rd December and I worked in retail - my boss was not keen that I took one of the busiest days off each year

In order to get round him I had to work on boxing day so I could have his birthday off

It stinks and even now I don't have to work boxing day we have never shopped on boxing day!!

This is the one area I had it easy - all three of mine were by caesarian, so time and place were booked in advance πŸ™‚
