Don't forget the Dads! What is labour and childbirth like for them?
Are you a first-time father with a baby aged 3-36 months?
Were you present for some or all of your partner’s labour and childbirth?
Did you find this experience difficult or upsetting?
Have you had any unpleasant thoughts or images about the birth subsequently?
We are inviting first-time Dads to take part in an important study exploring fathers’ experiences of labour and childbirth. For most parents, welcoming a child into the world is a happy experience. However, some fathers may find their partners’ labour and childbirth difficult or upsetting. We need a better understanding of fathers experiences so that we can support them appropriately in the future.
What does taking part involve?
The study involves first completing some questionnaires and then possibly being interviewed about your experiences.
