Watching: the Tour de France, of course, nothing else on is there? If you want to see a Briton do well at something, watch the next three days (ITV4 7-8), Cavendish should get at least two sprint finishes under his belt.

Reading: how to pass your 11+

Listening: have one of these dodgy compilations in the car £3 from Tesco "Rock n Roll Hits", or something. Currently, my 5 year old's favourite song ever is "Chantilly Lace". Mum passed him his dinner at the table the other day and he actually said "ooh baby, that's a what I like". Her eyes flicked straight to me as though I had something to do with it 🙂
