Woohooo, just thought I would share...Got my new harmony remote today. Probably can tell that I am excited
Can't wait to get home, set it up and try it out. May be my new best gadget, for a while anyway π
What to do with all the old remotes?
No more gadget envy from me, for a little while at least!
Looks nice
Hows good is it ? Can you really get rid of all your other remotes ?
Looks Flash - is it any good ?
Dare I say...It is awsome, although I have not replaced my remotes as yet. Setting it up as and when I get access to the TV....I am last in line for the TV, behind my wife and kids π
It does not work out of the box, needs setting up. Plug it into your computer via the usb connector and log into the logitech page via the application and enter the model number of your device and it downloads the details, no learning for devices.
Then you setup activities, e.g play dvd and tell it what should be on, tv/dvd everything else off and once it is downloaded to remote, click activity on comes the TV to the correct setting and on comes the DVD (even out pops the DVD tray if you want).
It will replace but has not yet.
