Good Morning Folks
Some of you may know by now that I was previously on this forum asking for suggestions of where to buy mobile phones for my kids.
Anyway, I ended up taking out 2 contracts with e2save.com.
I am now thinking of insuring them - my children are bound to lose them at some point or leave them lying around in school etc!!
Is anybody aware of good mobile phone insurance deals for children?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Whatever you look at, check the t&c carefully to make sure that the phones are covered if lost/damaged by children under 18 as some will exclude this.
ACTD is right, but more important is to ensure they are named users on the phone accounts or they won't be covered even if the insurance says they are.
Phonesafe are pretty good (not sure if you can buy direct though) when I worked in mobile phones they were one of the most reliable for paying out.
But I'd try your bank first, if you up-grade your account they sometimes include phone insurance, and if it's a joint account they will include 2 phones.
If you are a Lloyds TSB customer, then this may be of interest. Their 'Premium Advantage' account (I think that's the name) comes with free mobile phone insurance. I put mine on there. Sorted.
N.D.
I saw this Ronnie Corbett sketch and thought it was very clever
Especially for all those gadget freaks amongst us
Nice one !!
Im with Royal Bank of Scotland and they give pretty good mobile insurance with the Platinum Royalties account.
£16 PCM for the account but you get Green flag car cover, phone insurance, Travel insurance and National Trust membership.
Good value.
Check out money supermarket for such bank accounts it may be worth going that route.
Regards,
Dave
Hi Folks
My son has got a 3 year old psp and the charger does not seem to be working properly. Also, it seems as though the back part of the PSP (where he inserts the disc) is faulty too, because the games no longer work either.
Would you advice that I get it repiared or should I buy him a new one?
Realistically, I would have said it would be too expensive to have it repaired.
