Hi Folks

Does anybody play bridge or poker?

If so, which is the more popular game and why? Also, which one would you say is easier to learn?

Thanks

Never played bridge, couldn't get my head around it.

Poker is easier to learn as it's simple suits, runs, pairs ect there are different ways to play though.

Bridge is a complicated game and involves bidding and quite of lot of strategy as you play in pairs against the other pair.

Poker is a game of betting - whilst the hand you have is important sometimes you can win by making the other players think you have a good hand.

Most poker sites will let you join for free and you can play for free - however you cant beat playing against other people

I love playing poker it is such a great buzz

I agree, it isn't about the hand your dealt but more about how you play it.

I used to play a lot of cribbage when my grand dad was alive, used to love that too

Depends which circles you move in...I don't think card games are played nearly as much these days. There are plenty of gambling websites where poker is played so in my opinion poker would be the most popular.
