[Solved] Best way to sell my 10 year old Sony camcorder?

Hi Folks

I bought a brand new Sony camcorder about 10 years ago. I am now thinking of selling it and buying a more modern small compatible camcorder.

Can you suggest what websites I could use in order to sell it? Do you think I could part exchange it when buying a new one from one of the major retailers such as Curry or Dixons?

Ebay is the obvious choice, but to be honest, anything that old with a tape will probably be worth peanuts these days considering that it would probably compare poorly with a modern £50 camera taking video.

It might be considered an antique - could be valuable 😉 :whistle:

I would check out ebay and see what the same camera is going for and then see if the stores part exchange would be better or worse.

Ebay is definitely worth a look - search for the item to see how much they sell for.

You may get lucky and get a good price

Other options could be an old camera shop - at least you'll get an idea of the price
