Thought I would re-cycle this old thread after Martin Atkinson's howler on Sunday - how could he give that goal against Spurs?

Surely now is time to bring in video technology?

I just re-read some of this thread and see that it was Suarez who handled the ball and cheated. Even a as Liverpool fan, it seems to me that Suarez is not a good role model in more ways than one.

Anyway, back to the point. I am in favour of video technology for some decisions but not all. Goal line technology, yes, but not for red cards/fouls etc.

I agree - it has to be about the goal line because it will be all too easy to start looking for reasons to disallow a goal.

We have this debate every year and the technology is there - lets just use it
