Never really understood Twitter (despite the fact, if you hadn't already guessed, that I like to talk 😆 ). Will be getting a new phone in December which has twitter on it, so maybe I'll give it a go then.
u don't know what your missing actd. I twitter away most weekdays as @DadTalk and have a whale of a time with our followers.
OK, so I've signed up, and I'm following dadtalk. What happens now? 😕
actd, whats your twitter name ?
I thought I'd be original and go for 'actd', but it's obviously not that original, as someone beat me to it. So it's actd2. I am following dadtalk.
I did sign up a couple of years ago to see if I could figure twitter out - used a fictitious (and female) name. Within a week, I had two people following me. What's that all about!! 😮
I've been a twitterer for a year or so
Username is Stewharb, started following Dadtalk now and voted.
*And I've just become your first follower actd 😀
Yep, seen that - thank you kind sir. 😀
Still not sure what Twitter is all about, but perhaps it will grow on me. Tried to set it up to be mobile, but t-mobile isn't a supported network. 😥
I guess it's the same as a lot of things, you get out what you put in.
Useful for chatting and getting to meet interesting people. Freinds of freinds or sometimes just random folk. I chat to a lot of people about football, kids, tv.......... a bit like dadtalk really, but at bit more instant.
There are a lot of idiots on there too mind, but no-one you can't block!

I completely agree with you Dear Mr Toblerone. It depends on whether you actively reply and chat to people through it as to whether you get the most of it. There's some pretty good banter to partake in if you really get stuck in. Also, I see it as quite a good newsfeed... provided you 'follow' people or organisations with interesting content!
Just another new technology which we are coming to terms with ey? It's all very overwhelming sometimes.
Yeah, maybe you're right. I'll keep an occasional eye on it, but hopefully changing my phone in December (better for internet) so will be able to get into it more if I don't have to be tied to a PC.
