Just read all about the new Hobbit movies coming up over the next few years.

Exiting stuff I think.

Anyone else a fan?

Yep, their doing the story over two movies with a number of the LOTR cast appearing for various chronological reasons!!

I was talking about this film at work the other day and apparently some of the people who played the main parts in the LOTR films are in this one ie Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett etc are in The Hobbit but chronologically, they shouldn't be. I wonder how they'll do it??

Anyone watching the Game of Thrones series on SKY Atlantic ?

Well worth a look if you enjoy sweeping fantasy epics. The first season (10 episodes) is based on the book of the same name by George R R Martin from his A Song of Ice and Fire series.

The story is great, brilliant cast and they have captured the epic locations well. Be warned though its not one for the kids. The books were superb (I'm halfway through the second book).

HBO have already commissioned a second season after just one episode.

Not normally my cup of tea but for HBO to commission another series after just one episode, it must be good!

Watched the first episode (unfortunately with the boys) and there was far too much nudity, incest and [censored] for my liking.

Switched it off and won't be revisiting.
