A little bit late to put this on but it was really upsetting so not only see how poorly England performed on the pitch but also how badly they misbehaved off it.
These should be role models for the school kids of today and all they will see is married men cavorting with young girls, jumping off boats and making lewd comments to hotel staff.
When they won in 2003 really raised interest in the game as kids wanted to emulate the players lets hope they do not do the same
Us Welsh are having the time of our lives. Thankfully that referee [censored] up in the South Africa game has turned into an advantage given the side of the draw, and the beauty of a semi final against France is you never know what France will turn up, so i'm quietly optimistic that we can do the French and make it to an unlikely final.
As for England, the old pals act simply didn't work, from the first match they were seemingly screwed, Wilkinson blames the [censored], when its his own fault, then he gets off whilst two others get suspended as it was their fault not his, then all the other off field antics just really screwed them over in the end.
However I will say it would be a mistake to get rid of Johnson. England have improved under him, just he made the mistake of picking some of his mates, when he really should have picked the newer breed of player.
i just feel the whole thing was a pile of [censored] from the begining i dont think johnson is the right man i didnt when he was appointed i feel the job should have gone to ashton. all we can do know is regroup and build on want went wrong and learn from it
I'd like to know what possesed one of Englands many foreigners to jump off a ferry 😆
Apparently it was high jinks - the day after being beaten in the quarter finals so clearly upset at the defeat
I dont think Johnson is a quitter but he may not want to put up with the newspapers on his case. He certainly needs to bin all the old players and start working towards the next world cup which he will be expected to win as it is in England
The frogs were very lucky against us on Sat. I can't complain about Warburtons red card as the rules are the rules, but we really should have beaten them, however we can't complain, we weren't expected to make it to the semi finals, and with a young squad it only bodes well for the future.
Have to fancy the All Blacks to batter France in the final too, not even New Zealand can choke in a final in their own back yard, can they?
As I watched the NZ v Aussie game this morning it made me realise how rubbish football is compared to rugby. I've said before what I think of footballers but rugby players, for me are the toughest athletes in sport. What do you think?
I have always thought that rugby was a proper man's sport - in football if someone touches another player they fall over writhing in agony, in rugby they fight and tackle so hard I squirm!
I love watching the game
Think that ITV commentary has been really poor this year and not a patch on either BBC or Sky
As for the final think NZ will win by 30 points - I hope the French dont win as they will officially be the WORST world cup winners ever
