Ok Dadtalkers - here is the place to discuss the new premier league season, who is going to win? who will go down? who will be the first manager to go?
My tip will be Liverpool for the title by 20 points
Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea to go down.
Ferguson to be sacked by September 1st.
Seriously I cannot see past a top 4 of those four teams however Spurs, Villa and Man City should push them close.
My tip will be Man Utd to win the league. I am concerned that Liverpool are in transition and could take a few years to break back into the top 4.
I think top four in this order will be:
Man U
Chelsea
Arsenal
Man City
I hope Tottenham can stay in there but the Champions League might be a distraction plus City have signed just about every player in Europe! I think Liverpool will be closer to the top four this year, Joe Cole is a good signing for them.
Chris
Ok top four :
Chelski
Manure
Arsenal
Man City
😮 I know, I know I haven't tipped the mighty gooners for top, at the moment we are a GK and a central defender short of challenging for top spot.
Chelsea
Man City
Man Utd
Arsenal
These are my top four in this order.
Leading Goalscorer to be Wayne Rooney or at least I hope so as he is in my fantasy football team (can't see Torres being fit!)
OK - I have worked it all out. So no need for anyone to watch the football this year. All the final results/positions are below.
1 Man U - I think they'll want it most ...#19
2 Arsenal - Time has come for the fledgelings to start flying
3 Chelsea - Too arrogant / don't like hair styles
4 Liverpool - Back in the top 4 ... Just
5 Man City - Good phases, but will implode after manager sacked
6 Everton - Always there ...or thereabouts
7 Spurs - Too much going on with CL games
8 Fulham - Should do well with Hughes ...but may take a year
9 Villa - Currently imploding ...lucky to finish in top 10
10 Blackburn - Firmly planted in their mid-table slot
11 Sunderland - Ditto
12 Birmingham - Foster not as good as Hart
13 Bolton - They will lose faith in Coyle ...and sack him
14 West Ham - Baron Greenback will sort them out ...slowly
15 Stoke - ...another sacking
16 Newcastle - Will continue to struggle with Ashley and Hughton
17 Wolves - May just survive another year
18 Wigan - Will plummet with no manager ...early sacking
19 West Brom - Of course they'll go down. That's what yo-yos do
20 Blackpool - No chance
Community Shield: Man U 3 v 1 Chelsea
FA Cup: Arsenal 2 v 1 Chelsea
Carling Cup: Man U 4 v 2 Man City
Champions League: Real Madrid 1 v 1 Man U (Real to win on penalties)
Europa League: Liverpool 3 v 2 Man City
Championship Promotion
1 Bristol City - Coppel & James will be formidable ...after an early hiccough
2 Swansea - Just because the missus is from "The Vaahlees"
3 Leeds - via the play-offs ...they should be in the Premier League ...they just should
Managerial Sackings ..in order
O'Neill (Villa)
Martinez (Wigan)
Mancini (Man C)
Hughton (Newcastle)
McCarthy (Wolves)
Pulis (Stoke)
Coyle (Bolton)
Big time predictions from Ratso.
Nice
Ratso - have you ever considered the possibility that perhaps you have slightly too much time on your hands?
