Well here goes...

Imagine if while watching your son play football for his local team he bites one of his opponents!!

It is actually unimaginable and I think that Liverpool may need to consider cashing in on him as this cannot continue.

After the game Brendan Rodgers was reported saying….Say what you want about the him but you can’t question the lads hunger in the box, he showed he’s still got a great appetite for the game.......if you’d offered us a point before the match I would’ve bitten your arm off.

👿 10 Match Ban !!!!

SM....Its actually happened, the free paper was posted through the letter box earlier and it covers a story about a 10yr old boy doing exactly that, biting an opponent! These players are such role models and young boys are going to copy them.

Dad-i-d....that amused me! 😆

Luis Suarez is such an important player for Liverpool - they will not sell him.

As with other teams in the past - if a player is good enough, they will put up with the controversies that go along with the players.

This is the second time he has bitten a player (first time in the English league) and after the racist remarks issue last season you would think he would have learnt his lesson.

The simple fact is that he is a wonderful striker and without him Liverpool would be a far weaker team.

As a qualified youth football coach, I know the influence players (as role models) have on youngsters - the issue is that the modern top level player is a pampered, worshipped and paid vast fortunes. They are disconnected from normal life and the rules normal people live by. No matter what transgressions they commit - there will always be a another football club willing to pay them money to play. For an example of this check out Lee Hughes. Who still enjoys a very well paid career after many transgressions. I guess the only answer to all this is to discuss it with your kids, make sure they understand what is acceptable and what isn't. Use the high profile instances to discuss the right and wrong way to behave.

At least Liverpool are handling this whole affair properly this time - especially after the fiasco of Evra

Suarez did not appeal because he wanted to show that he is taking this punishment seriously.

Hope he enjoys his extended holiday - on full pay

Thought about biting someone at work today as they upset me in the coffee queue - bet you I would be fired though!!
