What's your opinions on Tom Cruise been cast as Jack Reacher?
I think it's a very bad casting call. I cant imagine him at all as Reacher, To small to start with
Think it's a great call for Tom Cruise but I agree I have a mental image of Reacher being tall and stocky.
So who should it have been?
Mel GIbson?
Harrison Ford would have been great but probably a little too old now!
I LOVE the Jack Reacher books. Agree that Cruise is too small. Someone like Jason Statham would be best. Plus he's English and therefore much harder! Does anyone know what book they're making into a film first?

I dont why they just didnt kick it off with Killing Floor, May as well start at the start
In true Hollywood tradition they start half way then launch sequels followed by prequels then pre-prequels.
I agree they should just start with book one and work their way through - if the films are half as good as the books then they will be fantastic.

I didnt even know they were making a film i love the books. I agree that tom cruise is not how i pictured him i think jason statham would be much better
Hi did not realise that they where doing a film. Tom cruise no way to small but agree jason stathem would be good.
I'd love them to start making films based on some of ANdy McNabs books and on his character Nick Stone. Now they would be good films!
