Fifa were only paying lip service - will never allow goal line tech as it opens the door to more advances.

Personally I think the 4th official should be sat in a room watching the match on TV. Replays are available so quickly that they would be able to correct onside/offside decisions and say yay or nay on goals.Without any break in the game - we saw in the Argentina game when Tevez scored from an offside position - the replay on the big screen in the stadium was available before the ref had finished consulting with the linesman.

Will never happen though - however won't stop players being charged with offences, caught on camera, after the game is well over. Double standards anyone ???
