Think the Euro's is too soon for the OX would rather he play in the Olympics rather than the euro's.

Not sure about our chances in the Euro's until I know who Harry would take.

Really would like to see a lot of the old guard not go at all (the ones that have been to major tournaments and not performed - we all know the names ). The squad that played in South Africa were just an embarrassment. 😡

Would rather we go and just quietly go about our business - no "We can win it" statements to the press.

Think you are going to be disappointed as the old guard will all be going

I think the new boss will make changes afterwards

Think we should go to Poland/Ukraine with quiet dignity-none of this "We can win it" rubbish but just go about our business. Hopefully the media will see that their intervention is detrimental to the national interest. Looking forward to June!

Whilst I agree with you Huck that is not going to happen - we will get the jubilee celebrations over with then because we are all feeling nationalistic and patriotic we will start saying we are going to win!

A couple of dodgy results then a lucky break and Rooney returning will see us through to the next stage where we will get thumped by Spain or Germany

Same old result
I know I am a killjoy but I have seen it all before

WOY THE BOY!

Well, that was a turn up for the books! Roy Hodgson - England manager. Personally, I think he is a safe, solid choice and he's got nothing to lose. If England do badly, well, we all expect it but if they do well, he's a hero. What do you guys think?

So Roy Hodgson is the man - I hope he is given a chance

It is not about this tournament - it is about the 2014 World cup and we need to build for the future so lets get rid of the old guard after Euros and take a chance

Can't wait to see the likes of Oxlad-Chamberlain wearing the shirt

Ok I going to high-jack this thread :p 👿

I want you to name your England squad (if your England Manager who are you taking with you in your 23 man squad)

Name your first eleven

and finally name your formation (442, 433, 532, 4321, 4312 etc)

Interested to see who goes and who stays. Will you force Rio to play with Terry given what's going on between them.Old Guard or new generation?

Think the squad was interesting

Think he got it right - although I would be tempted not to take JT

Think he needs to say that come September it will be younger squad and get rid of the likes of Terry, Lampard, Gerrard and Barry

Glad that Gerrard is captain hope he does ok

Isn't it interesting that there hasn't been much hype so far - in fact I have seen a single car flag yet

I would have taken Jagielka in the first place and I would have also taken Crouch instead of Welbeck. I wouldn't have taken Henderson but don't know who else would or could have done it.

This is the first time the country's expectations have been so low so I wouldn't suprised if we do really well and maybe even win it. What have we got to lose?

Apparently we were allocated 10,000 tickets for the match v France and have only sold half of them - The FA think some may make their own way there but what they haven't allowed is the fact that this is the worst England side for many years

Henderson - I agree with you - he is not England quality and I would have begged Michael Carrick to go but typical Man U player sulks if he has to play for a place

I hope England do well but fear that they could be lambs to the slaughter

GK -Hart - Defenders: Johnson - Jones - Cahill - Cole (no place for racist adulterer thug Terry)...MF Downing...Parker...Milner..Young...Forwards: Rooney (after ban served) and Welbeck...before Rooney serves ban its Andy Carroll. Why no Carrick or Lennon in squad??!!
