Recently read that Steve Bruce never actually played for England - is he the best player never to have won an international cap?

I heard this recently too Mario and I was shocked. I don't know how he didn't get capped, I read that Bobby Robson spoke to him and told him he regretted not giving him a cap. It's funny when you think of certain players who have played for England!

...and I suppose you could say Ryan Giggs (who played for England as a schoolboy!)
