Anyone else been watching Ashes to Ashes Series 3 on Friday nights? It's the best thing on TV by miles, in my opinion, and only has two episodes left 🙁 Lots of theories as to how it will end. Is Constable Half a Face really Gene Hunt and has he been the one in a coma all this time? Roll on Friday night, not that I'm wishing my life away of course!
Completely agree with you mikey!
Ashes' third season was brilliant! My OH and I watched it together, one of the few times we watch tv ... the ending was spoilt slightly by someone at work telling me the twist before had seen the episode (we missed it, so had to watch on iplayer). Going to try and order it on DVD soon, or put it on the Christmas list. We have series one and two, so might be a case of watch all three seasons together.
The series paled next to Life on Mars ... although the third series had great writing that outstripped some of the previous two series. It goes to show the kind of great shows the UK can write and produce, I have yet to watch the US version of Life on Mars ... already know it won't be as good or original as our version!
Gene Hunt was a brilliant character ... Phil Glenister is immortalised now as the man himself.
