Am I going to get all excited at the prospect of Andy Murray at Wimbledon?
or will he fizzle out like he has done for most of this year.

Do you watch?

Liked his bow to the Queen yesterday, but I can't see him winning Wimbledon. The Queen hasn't been to Wimbledon in 33 years, I wonder why she chose this year to go??

I shall be watching when I can and luckily got a ticket to Ladies Final Day, followed by Men's Doubles Final - never been to Wimbledon so really looking forward to the whole day. 😀 D D

Hi there

Have a great time - I have only been once. Went to the men's final when Krajcek beat Washington in a rained interupted walkover.

The experience was great - but expensive!

I too liked Murray's bow to the Queen and it's a good omen she came because the last time she visited Wimbledon was the last time a Brit won, so you never know. I think Murray has looked quite good so far but I'm not sure if he'll be able to get past Nadal in the semi's (if he gets there).

It will be expensive - I'm prepared to be ripped off buying Pimms and strawberries! At least there will be guaranteed play, now there's a roof over Centre Court. 😀

I thought Andy did very well today against Sam Querrey - I just can't get past no matter how good he is, he won't be good enough to beat either Federer or Nadal (whichever he gets to play).

I hope he proves me wrong, i really do.

Sad news today about Capriati - I hope she recovers.

After the GP and the football at the weekend, I assume Murray will be beaten by the next German he meets 🙂

Not sure I agree Goonerplum, the way Federer and Nadal have dropped sets this year surely Murray could beat one of them - the issue is he will need to beat BOTH!!!

Good Luck Andy

I think he's got a chance; his semi final nemesis last year Roddick is out and Nadal has a dodgy knee so you never know! If he gets to the final, at least he will have improved on last year.

Now Federer is out! One set all against Tsonga.

So Murray's through to face Nadal and Federer's out...wow those hopes are getting higher by the minute! What are everyone's predictions for Murray v Nadal? I'm going for Murray winning it in five.

Could be interesting - Murray has never had a better chance and I think he will realise his potential this year

Murray in straight sets like the Australian

I'd like to see him win and think he's got his best chance yet.
