Good Morning Folks
I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta and the left wiper arm needs replacing.
Are all wiper arms the same size? Would it come with all the necessary screws/bolts required to fit it on?
Can you suggest any good/cheap places where I can buy the wiper arm. I have tried my local retailers but they only sell the arm and blade together. I don't want to but the blade since the blades I already have are fine and I can just transfer then on to the new arm.
Thank U
Halfords do 'refill' blades that you cut to length - I think they come in a pack of 5 or 6 blades.
Hi actd
I've got the blade - I just want to buy the right sized arm.
if you google which wiper blade you should find a site that allows you enter you car registration and then it will tell you which blade you need
Or you could do what I normally do - pay the extra for someone from Halfords to select and fit your blade
I think he has the blade it's the arm he needs.
Do a quick search on ebay, you will find an arm cheap.
They are easy to fit, you pop the cap off the base of the wiper arm, then undo the nut below (normally a 10mm nut) remove the old one and fit the new, just be carful to fit back onto the splines (you will see what I mean once the old one is off) in the same place as the old one so it travels the same distance accross the screen and doesn't hit the base of the windscreen or the other blade/arm

Ah yes - I think that's a case where I need to RTFQ π
