I just thought I'd go and check that out because I couldn't find edit on my profile page when I was there before, It doesn't say edit on my grey bar but I just touched it on the right hand side and it brought the page up that would allow a change of avatar.
I like it on the PC, hate it on my phone, everything so big on my phone. The fonts weird too, thats so small.
Im liking it though, will take some getting used to, but i like it.
I agree with whats been said, It's less inviting, the back ground colours are a little washed out, maybe the colours could be changed that may make a big difference.
I think the biggest point to make though is that the up graded site is like putting a high court barrister in tramps clothes, no matter how the barraster looks the advice and information is still there.
Gooner, I'm not saying the site looks like it's dressed as a tramp by the way Lol, I do think it looks very good and user friendly to navigate, it's just the colours that could maybe be changed.

...hmm I liked the fact that individual posts on a topic were in a defined box, which they aren't now and the signature is now full on and takes up a lot of room, where as before it was discreet and I preferred that.
There's bound to be teething problems but hurry up and get it sorted so we can get on with business! 😉
Thanks Gooner, unless I'm being very blonde, I've followed your instructions but on the edit profile page, it's just all personal info, no avatar option.....
Click on your user name and you'll go to your forum profile.
look at the right hand side of the grey bar that says "Profile for xxxxxxx" and you'll see edit.
Click on edit
Click on the avatar image tab.
Click on upload a new avatar and select the image you would like to use.
No problem 1626 - which point did you get up to?
Thanks Gooner, unless I'm being very blonde, I've followed your instructions but on the edit profile page, it's just all personal info, no avatar option.....
When I look at my profile, the grey bar with my user name on it, has nothing written on it, when you move the mouse to the far end, you can see there is a link, when I click it, i get to edit my profile and there is a tab for avatar.

Hi gtt,
You're not suggesting that the word edit is in grey on a grey background are you? ;;) :pinch: 🙁
It's not on my username but I have just checked it out using a normal user level account and the word edit does appear to be grey on grey ..........
I will post an image of where it should appear (of course it is there just you can't see it unless you highlight it).......and try to get that issue sorted.
Gooner
God knows how I did it but I did it!! There's no edit button and I couldn't find what GTTS & NJ had said so I started clicking randomly and swearing at the screen and all of a sudden it appeared haha! Let's hope I don't need to change any other info again as I will never find my way back 🙂 Other than that, the new layout's okay!!
Come on admit it own up you've copied the colour scheme of my cool smiley Dj avatar hahahaha!
.... clicking randomly and swearing at the screen .....
Oooh, the technical expert solution 😀 😀
