Hello. How is everyone? I haven't posted for a few weeks now and I really wanted to write about National Family week. You may already be aware but next week is National Family Week in the UK - 31st May - 6th June (the UK's biggest annual celebration of family life aiming to highlight the importance of quality time together and promote the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle)!

Have a look at the website: http://bit.ly/dcXO4A

What is everyone doing to celebrate?

Had a look for events near to us, sounds like a lot of fun could be had!!

Families do need to spend more time together, not just at half term and bank holidays!!

Lol - the sun nearly came out here in the east midlands today... Humid game of cricket with the kids 😀

imperionic - you are absolutely right; I hope National Family Week continues to grow! It is Film Night tonight - currently debating with the kids which cartoon to watch :0

We have had no sun since Sunday - just clouds and rain; but that means we had to make the most of it indoors and we have had loads of fun!!

Hi there - it is great to see you guys take an interest in National Family Week!

Bayard, Imperionic - Thank you for your comments, let's wait and see just how huge National Family Week becomes 🙂 There are indeed loads of ideas on the website, it's a great source of information and inspiration.

I think it is a great time to have fun with our kids as well as teaching them new skills. A Bag Garden would be a brilliant activity to participate in!
