Hi, Just wondered ....

It seems there are a lot of meet and greet sort of things for mom's kicking off all over the place ... BUT ... nothing really for dad's?? Now, im not expecting our baby until June but as i plan to use this site lots, wondered if there was dadtalk BBQ in the summer time? or a weekend away?? just for dad's + wee one's ... It was just a curious question i thought i could ask 🙂

let me know. x

Nothing planned but that sounds an excellent idea - what does the rest of the Dadtalk community think ?

Depends where everyone is - unless it's a virtual BBQ - you cook your own food and post on here at the same time 😆

Well, if people were up for it, there are a few good places that could be ideal.

Im up in scotland at the min, but know of some very good and cheap central areas ( Derbyshire, which is easy for pretty much everyone ) that would be good for a weekend or just a day.

If anybody is interested in organising something and pm'ing other members to see if its worthwhile then i would be interested,

Just thought these things can be a good way of supporting others, what ever stage of "life!" were in.

Cogs are turning and wheels are in motion (oooooohhhhhh 😉 )

We will look at the costs of potentially holding it at Dadtalk towers and arranging for those who have to travel distances being able to pitch a tent or something.....I think it would be great to meet up with some dadtalkers.

Keep registering your interest here so we are able to see if a event is viable.

Watch this space.
