Hi Folks
I bought a Seat Ibiza 2011 recently from my local dealer. The warranty lasts for 3 months and is due to run out towards end of September.
If I want to extend it, it would cost £15 per month. Do you think it is worth taking out a warranty? Is this monthly cost that the dealer has quoted, sound reasonable to you?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Sounds a reasonable cost - bear in mind it won't cover wear and tear, so read the small print. Also usually means you have to have it serviced to the manufacturers recommendations (not necessarily at the Seat dealership, but it may require Seat original parts for some items) - again check the small print.
Thanks actd.
There will also be a maximum claim limit and lots of warranties won't cover ECU's or wiring, so you could find it won't cover what you may need.
Some companies are better than others though, A friend of mine has AA breakdown cover that also includes a warranty, he has had huge success from using that and has had more than his monies worth from it, he's had a complete engine rebuild after major failure, batteries, drive shafts it does seem a good one so could be worth looking into.
GTTS
Thank You
