Not sure I have the patience to trawl the papers etc. but fair play to this kid!!
This kids like a litte money saving genius, I bet it takes hours if not days to find all the coupons and deals etc. though, and I just couldn't do it, heck I don't have time to do it :p
Have you never seen super scrimpers on TV, this is huge in the US, people buy/take 100's of pounds worth of goods from the supermarkets and spend as little as possible or can even get paid if they use the coupons in the right way, it's mad but I guess if you have the patients and means why not.
GTTS
There are plenty of people who seem to make a living from competitions as well - the thing is, with any of these, is that you have to put the time in, and it's a matter of working out your hourly rate for the time you spend, vs the amount you could earn for the same time spent. That's assuming you have the option to work extra of course, and also there is the fun factor in beating the supermarkets or winning a competition.
My problem is I get given the coupons then forget to take the blooming things when I go shopping!!!
my wife does the same - only she does the shopping online and still forgets 🙂
Me too! 😆 I have a pile of expired ones in my purse still....thats as far as they get!
my mother inlaw gets discounts and vouchers from M&S
THE M&S coffee vouchers come in handy as we like thier coffe and sometime use more than one in a transaction saves us pounds and the necter and swipe cards point system seems to work too if you patiant enough i save up to between £5 to £15.00 when doing a big shop that a lot of savings over the year also with petrol discounts too
the other thing i'm trying is utility wharehouse company that had a which thumbs up on savings last year....
I have just spent clubcard vouchers on the following
Free entry to Alton towers - £34 in clubcard vouchers - would normally cost £158.40 on the day!!!
£240 of restaurant vouchers for our holiday this summer (should do 3 visits) for £60 of vouchers!!
so can't complain there!!!
