my soon to be EX wife has run off with my daughter i think she is one her way to scotland i have been in touch with my laywer waiting on call back police dont seemt o want to here from me i dont know wheer to turn
Hi
Unfortunately, I'm not sure that there is anything the police can do as I don't think she's done anything illegal as there's obviously no contact or residence order. Is there a reason that you know of why she's gone to Scotland and does she have suitable accomodation likely for your daughter?
well the police have finaly been in contact with her but cant tell me at the moment where she is
The problem is that she isn't breaking the law, and if she wants to keep her address secret, that's her right. You need to speak to your solicitor to try to get contact as soon as possible, which will mean a least attempting mediation.
If she has gone to Scotland are the laws different there?
Would she go to relatives or a friend - and a tough question but do you know why she left?
