Hi all
Found this article online - worth reading.
I remember my school days and facing the cane or a clip round the ear - never did me much harm!
However I am not advocating hitting children but I do remember pushing children to the very limit!!

What do you think
Mario
I was caned and slippered at school - did me no harm and although it hurt (not surprisingly) at the time, I had no doubt that I deserved it.
I don't agree with inflicting paid, but perhaps a modern equivalent of the stocks could be found - public embarrassment could be an effective deterrent, as long as there's no way it becomes a 'badge of honour' like ASBOs seem to have.
