Had a great Xmas - too much to eat and far too much time spent in the sales

Boys have got loads and have now spent all their Xmas money but I think we have all done well.

Oh well only another 362 days to Christmas...

Hi all. I am still well and truly full of food (and beer) from xmas. Pleased to report that it went well and I was blown away by a pressie from the kids: a hot air balloon ride! The family had rather creatively pooled the Tesco Club Card points and there was enough for me to have a balloon ride with my partner, who got the same last year but hadn't booked it yet. Now we can share the experience together (assuming we can sort out various issues....but here's hoping, right?!)

Got my usual assortment of beer and choccy, so pleased there too! No PS 3 game, so did some creative trading at game and managed to get Fifa 13, so i'm a happy bunny in the footy department!

Plenty of beer left over, so I'm making a nice dent in that 🙂

Cheers, everybody (and thanks for your wishes, Goonerplum 😉

You are more than welcome mate. Glad you had a good time and the balloon ride sounds cool - you have to take some photo's and post them on here. 😉

I managed to trip and bend my toes back on themselves on Xmas eve (the way they are not supposed to bend) ;;) , fell smashed my ribs against something and whacked my head on the floor - so have spent most of Xmas limping and wincing my way around the house. By Boxing Day my foot had turned a wonderful mixture of purple and black - never had bruises like it. Despite that and the misses being laid low by a virus we actually had a good time. Teenage daughter has got the trivial pursuit bug over the period - so loads of games together as a family and loads of fun ( without too much moving about.) :p
